The key thing about this pub is that it's walkable from Glenfield Cottage. Its not fancy, but its a 12 minute brisk walk across the field at the bottom of the garden and keeps good beer.

WALKS FROM LITTLE COXWELL Turn left at the end of the gravel drive and then turn right at the end of the village road. Cross over the road and walk along the bank to the Gorse Farm Goodies shed. Go through the parking area and to the right of the milkshed and walk along the inside of the hedge. At the end, turn left up the incline into the woods. Walk through the woods and just over the brow you will see a sign for various footpaths. Follow the 'Circular Walk' footpath sign to the right. Follow the track through the woods and down through the field all the way to the village of Fernham where you will find the Woodman Inn. It is dog friendly and has inside and outside areas. Good pub grub and selection of beers and gins!

Located a two minute walk from the barn, this is a true old-world village pub with great food and real ale.
