One of the historical monuments of Montenegro is the fortress Španjola, which is located on one of the highest hills of Herceg Novi, at an altitude of about 170 meters above sea level. Outside the bastion of Spanjola looks very impressive and although almost nothing is intact inside it, it is worth a visit...
