The fortress was built after reconquest of Herceg Novi from the Turks in 1539. Today this is one of the most beautiful summer stage on the entire Adriatic coast , where the walls with its beautiful view of the city.

Kanli Kula is a fortress in Herceg Novi's old town which is sometimes used for concerts at night. During the day you can get on top of the fortress and enjoy a view of Herceg Novi's coast.
