In the winter, you can see a herd of 1000 elk in one place. On weekends, you can take an old military truck into the herd. Amazing to watch them fight and eat...There are also dahl sheep.

Winter only - daily feedings of local elk (1:30 PM) . We also love this area year-round for walking the Tieton River Trail.
