A short drive to the pretty farming community of Firle – you should try The Ram – great food and wines and a lovely area for short walks.

Really good gastropub in a beautiful village a few miles out of Lewes. You can walk there in a couple of hours and get the train most of the way back (still a 30 min walk). The food is good but to be honest they are not the best for post-lockdown outdoor dining - no heaters or covers.

Excellent pub with lovely atmosphere, both inside and out with delicious food and a lovely walk across Firle Park to the pub and village from our site at Roundhill.
