This is the best kept secret in ABQ. The views are to die for if it's warm enough to sit outside on their HUGE covered patio. This is my favorite place to go eat if I can sit outside. The food is great and even though it is a resort, the prices of food here are NOT resort prices. Most of the time there are never more than a couple of other tables being used. You have the place and the views to yourself--even during balloon fiesta--and it's close to the balloon field. It's part of the casino, but you don't even go near the casino because it is at the Golf Course away from the Casino. So, no smoke around you. Kids are welcome and they can usually run around and not have to stay seated because there's no one else around for them to bother. I highly recommend this place to all travelers. Oh, and they have the best Eggs Benedict in town--hands down. The yolks are always cooked perfectly. Open Early, but they will close after the last golfers are finished sometimes.

Opened in 2005, this Scott Miller designed Championship Par 72 course was developed by the Pueblo of Sandia as part of the Sandia Resort and Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico. At 7,752 it is the longest course in NM, yet is designed for players of all skill levels. The course winds through the rugged high desert and offers dramatic views of the Sandia Mountains and the greater Albuquerque area.
