If you see nothing else, see this. You have to pay to get in, but the White tower is over a thousand years old, survived the Great Fire of London, houses the Crown jewels, the famous black birds (Ravens) and the Gentlemen Warders (soldiers) still wear a medieval uniform as they patrol the site.

Good to get there early. It has the Crown Jewels which are absolutely stunning to see and famous 'Beefeaters' are there to talk to you and tell you about the history of the tower.

The Tower of London is famous for "Traitors Gate" where people were taken down river to enter and later be beheaded. It is also where the Queen's jewels are kept and shown to visitors.

You can't visit London without visiting the Tower! Check out the beefeaters in their red coats that guard the Tower, and the ravens which protect it. The Crown Jewels are also worth a look!
