Kobe Muslim Mosque was build in 1935, the first Mosque in Japan.

The Kobe Muslim Mosque was built in 1935 as the first mosque in Japan. Its construction was supported by donations by the Islamic Committee of Kobe. The mosque was designed by Jan Josef Svagr (1885-1969) based on the traditional Turkish style. The mosque withstood the Great Hanshin Earthquake in 1995.

地下鉄『御崎公園駅』から『旧居留置大丸前』まで9分と 徒歩14分 または 車で15分 日本で一番古いモスクです 昼も綺麗ですが、夜のライトアップも綺麗です 近くにはハラルレストランとハラル食材店、ベトナム料理店、中華料理店など色んな国のレストランがあります
