Two nice ice rinks. This is where the Washington Capitals practice, so maybe you will see Alex Ovechkin.

Located at the top of the Ballston Mall (via parking garage elevators) this is a must visit for any Washington Capitals fan. You can get right up along the glass and watch as the Caps practice. You can also ice skate with your family too (there are 2 ice rinks).

Skate in the grooves of the Washington Capitals at Kettler Ice Arena. A fantastic place to cool off on a hot day. Just 1 mile from Cool, Calm and Collected.
