A nice few hours out with family going through the history of airplanes. Farnbough is the birth place of British aviation. It's about 10 mins drive from Aldershot

Free to visit Museum with amazing old aircraft and stacks of history about aviation and the airport in Farnborough. It also has great views of the runway to watch the jets land and take off.
