Perfect for hiking. This was one of Costa Rica's first conservation areas, protectingboth land and marine zones from development, so there is usually plenty of wildlife like monkeys and birds.

Get there early to make the most out of it. The trail that takes you to the beach is about two hours walking there and two hours back.

First Nacional park in Costa Rica. We recomend this place for hiking. The hiking is 1.5h going and 1.5h coming back. Better visit in the morning.

There are two hikes available, one moderate and one challenging. Both will expose you to local flora and fauna. The more difficult hike terminates at a pristine, deserted beach.
