The Chauvel Cinema is super close to Farthing Cottage (5 minutes walk) and has excellent and diverse indy and (sometimes) mainstream movies on offer. There is also a little candy bar and comfy seats with an old-school cinema feel. If you're up for a movie while you're staying at the cottage, the Chauvel is definitely the place to see it (or the Verona).
