A nice 20 minute walk to Fordham’s Milk Bar. This may be the oldest standing milk bar in Melbourne, but thanks to an upgrade just two years ago, it now doubles as a humming café. While still honouring its former life as a regular convenience store – you can purchase cartons of milk, soft drinks and lollies or top up your Myki – the right side offers the option to linger for coffee, breakfast, lunch or a seemingly endless list of cakes and slices. Like all good gourmet milk bars, there is also the option for take away, with a number of salads and pies to choose from.
