A lovely place for a walk and to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding moors. This is national trust so there is a convenient car park at the bottom. Make sure you're prepared if it has been raining as the hill is quite steep and can be slippy. Definitely worth the climb though, it's our little Glastonbury Tor!
Like a minature version of Glastonbury Tor, Burrow Mump is a hill and historic site overlooking Southlake Moor in the village of Burrowbridge. On top of the hill is a never completed church and some spectacular views are to be had just a short walk up from the carpark. A good stop off point on a drive around the area or to whet your appetite before a visit to the nearby King Alfred pub.
