Nature's wonder..large hole formed in the earth surface due to a meteorite..it is called as "Hawaiyat Najm" in Arabic which means "The Falling Star"..it has got a small lake 20 meter deep with turquoise water..so beautiful to see from the top Another magnificent geological feature of Oman. The sinkhole is formed by the caving in of limestone strata above .The water is clear bluish green. Can dip in and enjoy with family. The place is well kept with good resting posts.. Highly recommended to include in your travlel itinerary
