Yellow and Blue Line are great. For a quick ride into Chinatown, hit the Yellow Line. Looking to go closer to 14th street, catch the Blue line. Mount Vernon Square/D.C. Convention Center, hop on the yellow and be dropped off directly under the convention center. NOTE: The metro closes by midnight on the weekends unless the District extends it's hours. Be aware of closing times and get there approx. 30 minutes before closing.

Conveniently located within walking distance is the Pentagon City metro. The blue line and yellow line come through this station, so it's convenient to head in multiple directions. The proximity to the mall is great for everyone as well as a myriad of surrounding shops, restaurant.
