***** 14 miles ~ 22 Minutes Everything was great! The antique mall is in the 1880s Collins Axe Factory. I loved the looks of the large place and couldn't wait to get inside. Once inside we were greeted by 2 extremely friendly women who told us the history of the Collins Company (even showing us old photos). It was so interesting and it seemed like we talked forever about the factory and the area. We found several things to buy and as we were checking out the lady took us outside and showed us a white door further down and said we could go in and walk around some and look out the windows to see the waterfall. There were a couple of business in there but mostly it was just an abandoned factory which I loved exploring. Now, back to the antique mall. Except for a couple of cluttered booths (which we didn't bother to go into for fear of tripping or knocking something over) the large place was well organized with a good flow and the main aisles were wide and clear. Some of the stairs inside were steep so be careful on them and hold on to the handrails. You can find vintage jewelry, glassware, porcelain, pottery, furniture, unique items, books, vintage clothes, small collectibles, art, toys, 1950s art pottery (what I collect), rustic, and so much more. We spent the longest time in there. The original floors were amazing and I loved the way they squeaked. I highly recommend this place.

You may need a post office visit after this trip because you’d be pressed not to take something home. With 2 stories and over 50 vendors in historic Collinsville walking through the brick, old mill building is a treat in itself.
