The donauinsel is a huge park island on the river danube. It it perfect for jogging, bike rides and walking. Also you can go swimming. On hot days the meadows of donauinsel turn into a "beach".

with the Metro U1 to the station Donauinsel, you can swim, enjoy the nature, bicycle in the "new Danube" river take something to lay on the green-grass (at best in summer)
