Home of Chef Paul Prudhomme, godfather of cajun cuisine, this restaurant is a New Orleans institution. Must Try: Blackened Drum and Bread Pudding with Hard Sauce. Visit the restaurant of the late, great celebrity chef Paul Prudhomme. A great spot Thursday thru Saturday for a deli style lunch and reasonable prices. Place your order at the bar and eat great food on checkered table cloths and disposable utensils. Cajun style. Chef Paul Prudomme literally invented blackened. Blackened Red Fish, Blackened Steak, Blackened Lobster - Blackened... you fill in the blank. Service is awesome, casual dress is ok. Try for a seat on the second floor balcony in the evening.
