La spiaggia di Salinas è una delle più rinomate dell'isola. E' una spiaggia ampia e sabbiosa, adatta per giovani, famiglie e bambini. Il fondale, anch'esso sabbioso, tende ad essere basso per un lungo tratto e questo agevola soprattutto i più piccoli. Sulla spiaggia sono presenti diversi ristoranti e beac club, la scelta è piuttosto ampia. Per raggiungere la spiaggia attraverserete anche le vasche delle Saline dove potreste avere anche la fortuna di incontrare i fenicotteri rosa.

Ses Salines was declared a Natural Park in 2001 and constitutes one of the essential visits to be made in Ibiza. The reserve's territory covers almost 3,000 land and 13,000 marine hectares, and extends across the south of Ibiza and the north of Formentera, also occupying the arm of the sea that separates them, which is home to a large part of the oceanic posidonia meadows that surround the islands and which are part of the declaration of Ibiza World Heritage Site, in 1999. Their action is the cause of the rich marine biodiversity of the island, as well as the purity of its waters and even the landscape of the Pitiusan coast. In Ibiza, the entrance to the park is located near Sant Jordi. It houses not only the ancient ponds of the salt flats, but also the beaches of Es Codolar, Ses Salines, Es Cavallet; the cove of Sa Sal Rossa; the defensive towers of Es Carregador and Ses Portes, the church of Sant Francesc and the chapel of Sa Revista. In the parish house of Sant Francesc, next to the church, there is also the Interpretation Center of the Ses Salines Natural Park, where the flora and fauna of the reserve, as well as the history of the ponds, can be learned in detail.

Area close to the airport and the place they are farming the Ibiza salt "Sal de Ibiza" Two major beaches are here: "Salinas Beach" nice beach with some high quality and mostly expensive beach clubs with live DJs. I recommend "Sa Trinxa" at the very left side of the beach (looking on the water) . On the other side of this area you will find "Playa des Cavallet" (nudist and gay beach) with its high quality and price "Restaurant des Cavallet". When you get there by car just drive to the end and you will find it on the left hand side.
