We love this park for the kids' splash pad, picnic/BBQ areas, walking/hiking trails by the river. One caveat: popularity on hot summer weekend afternoons makes parking a challenge.

A Hidden Gem! You don't need to go to far to explore and experience Canada, you can start with this park, just within 5 kilometres from where we stay.

It is a recreational nature park in Scarborough, and is the Toronto's largest Municipal Park by the area. If offers huge trees, hiking, river, Creek runs through the forested area with trail, picnic areas, picnic tables, playgrounds, rest rooms etc. It is a fantastic site to explore with little adventures. 390 Morningside Avenue, Scarborough. 3.3km away.
