Cafe Zen is a Kitsilano staple - its a little diner style breakfast joint that serves up some delicious eggs benedict. My favorite breakfasts are the "flo-benji" and the "huevos tapatios." Don't be discouraged by a massive line at the entrance because it always moves quickly and nobody waits longer than 10 minutes.

Zen Cafe has en excellent Early Bird Special for super cheap. Their Bennys are wonderful :)

One of the oldest breakfast/lunch place of the city. Yummy food and really fast service: try the eggs bennies (any type). Really busy summer time.
