Not only are the buildings impressive - they are a sweet place to hang out with a bottle of win on the steps. Some evenings you might even catch some groups dancing the Tango.

My favourite square in Munich, just a 7min walk. In summer they have outside cinema evenings. Check if it‘s on while you‘re there!

Lovely open space, great for the first or last sun of spring or autumn to enjoy sitting on the stairs. Major museums like Glypthotek and pottery museum or Lenbachhaus

Königsplatz is the symbol of the Renaissance arriving in Munich. It is home to top museums. It’s a beautiful 10 minute walk along Briennerstrasse from Odeonsplatz.
