One of the world's great natural wonders - the glistening white sands of New Mexico. Great wave-like dunes of gypsum sand have engulfed 275 square miles of desert, creating the world's largest gypsum dunefield. It is completely enclosed by the White Sands Missile Range. Sledding, hiking, driving Dunes Drive, camping, and spectacular sunsets.

Sunsets over the White Sands are Amazing and occasionally they have full moon tours that are good in the warmer months

Christine’s favorite spot. An incredible sight to see...the car tour is 7 miles 1 way but you can stop along the way and hike. So beautiful.

If you have time for a day trip visit this beautiful place especially during sunset. It’s only about an hour and a half drive away.
