You can see the old building style of Phuket. Alot of coffee shop and Local food that easy to eat and low price. The wall of the building has art style and also museum to show the original Phuket style.

This is now a must see. The local government has restored many streets to their beautiful original state. Great cafes and local shops have popped up everywhere to give it a real village atmosphere. Great to visit day or night. You can get the local bus from Rawai that leaves about every 30 minutes.

The Sino-Portuguese architecture is quite distinctive in Old Phuket Town. Old Phuket town was built during the boom time of the tin mining industry. It is small enough to walk around in one morning so try and get there before it gets too hot. There are lots of places to snack and shops where you can get beautiful souvenirs or presents to take back home.

Phuket has a wonderful mix of nationalities who have chosen to live on this island. The population includes Thais, Chinese, Malays, Indians and Nepalese, a young and growing Eurasian community, and a unique mix of Hokkien Chinese and Thais called 'Baba'. You can see the Baba community's heritage in Phuket's Old Town, especially in its architecture, commerce, clothes, and way of life. The core of the Old Town essentially is made up of 5 roads and several sois (small streets): Rasada Rd, Phang Nga Rd, Thalang Rd, Dibuk Rd, and Krabi Rd. Exploring on foot is the best way to check out Phuket Old Town's Sino-Portugese architecture, narrow laneways, and traditional shophouses. Due to 1-way systems and lack of parking in the Old Town, it's not always easy to get around in a motorbike.
