There's several royal tombs around Hue. This is the most remote, most natural and least visited. A bit more challenging to find but well with the extra effort

Gia Long Tomb is situated about 16 kilometers away from the city centre of Hue. The construction of this tomb started in 1814 and was finished in 1820. It is located in a large land covered with a wide canopy of pine trees and has a simple monumental design. There is a lotus pond in front of the mausoleum. Behind the pond, there is a large terraced yard which is split into three levels. Gia Long Tomb is a perfect destination for travelers as they will have chances to know about the history of Hue, in particular, and Vietnam, in general.
