the best coffee in the neighborhood right on Tompkins Square Park. Great for an early morning walk and hang out.

A wonderful coffee shop to read a book or do some work or grab a cup to go. The cookies and pastries are also good.

Ninth Street Espresso has some of the most delicious coffee in the East Village, and arguably all of NYC... and depending who you ask, the WORLD!
