If you are looking to get outdoors this is a great place for walking. We bring Duke here. He loves it. I would not recommend going there alone. Buddy system is good.

Great for hiking and rock climbing. Has a lake for swimming!

Great for hiking or trail running. Well-maintained park with a lake that's open for swimming in the summer months. It's a short drive from Providence, and a great place to view fall foliage when the leaves change.

Great state park with beach, kyacks, rock-climbing, fishing, swimming and a great 3 mile loop for jogging, walking and biking. Right off 146. There is a horse farm next door that offers rides on trails for kids and adults.

This is my favorite place to take the dog for a trail hike or lake swim!
