Best time to cocktail is during the day or early evening. Half the fun is just finding the place. Once you do, what a hoot! The bar is far from fancy – it's good for greasy bar food, Coronas and margaritas. In terms of vibe, it's filled with people who've docked their boats, as well as landlubbers who just came to adjust their latitude.

Barnacle Bud’s has a great outside patio as well as inside space for dining and gathering. Whenever I go there, it’s just evokes the feeling of being on vacation. Since it is located on the river, boats can dock at the restaurant to visit. The owners of this restaurant also on McKiernan’s bar. They are great people and both businesses are assets to the community.
