Local Landmark - hike a trail or two, so many great ones that originate at the confluence. Walk no hands bridge. Keep walking about a mile to a small waterfall. See the rushing river.

Walk across an old train bridge from the 1800's. This bridge has withstood floods when the newer bridges collapsed.

This is also the area known as the “Confluence” which has great hiking trails, swimming holes, and all around beautiful location for recreation of all kinds

Tons of history about this bridge. Great views of the American river. Great place to swim, run, hike, bike and horseback ride.
