You only see a portion of the mountain from the road – there is some great terrain off to the sides, from beginner runs to wonderful glades and steeps. Good ol’ Whaleback boasts 30 trails, with a 700-foot vertical. There’s something for everyone, from the beginner area to awesome glades. The mountain is served by a two-person chairlift to the top,
