Several cemeteries and the Hurricane Katrina memorial are located at this end of the Canal Streetcar line. No need to pay for a cemetery tour unless you really want to.

There are lots of "cities of the dead" our famous above ground cemeteries. These are safe and easy to get to by streetcar.

You have to at least check out the cemeteries in New Orleans, even if just by looking from outside. They're absolutely beautiful!
