Mountain hut restaurant close to Samoens on the way home. Friendly service: worth booking for lunch as gets busy especially on cold days. Delicious food, reasonably priced (much better than the other places on the top plateau)

Open during the Winter season only, located off the Dahu ski piste. Serves up wholesome, Savoyard fare in a truly warm and inviting environment. The cosy interior with fireplace is ideal for a snowy day, and when the sun is out you can’t beat the open terrace.
