With the only Division I hockey team in the state, the University of North Dakota boasts a magnificent $100+ million arena. The 400,000-square-foot, five-story arena with seating for 11,406 is truly the envy of the NCAA. The main lobby area has ticket sales, a pro shop and complete "Sioux Tradition" museum. The arena hosts family shows, concerts, ice events and Fighting Hawks Hockey. The Betty Engelstad Sioux Center, a 50,000-square-foot expansion to Ralph Engelstad Arena, houses four regulation-size practice volleyball and basketball courts, which can be converted into one main game court. Tours are available Monday through Friday at 1:30 p.m. Please call for reservations.

If there is a hockey game, try to get tickets! It is the nicest college hockey arena in the nation! If there is no hockey game to attend, you should take a tour. It is quite the building.

The iconic Ralph! Home to the University of North Dakota 2016 National division 1 hockey champs!! Both mens and womens hockey teams play here, Next door to the Ralph is the Betty where UND plays basketball and volleyball. The arena is open daily for tours, call for more info.
