Past the second crossing down scenic River Road is a shack from which you can get a ride down the river, drink a few beers on the patio or just sit with your feet in the river. But the best thing about the Lone Star Float House is the burgers! Made to order with all of the fixings…I don’t know how they do it, but these burgers are heaven.

Great burgers right on the Guadalupe river. Beautiful drive down River Road. And they will take you floating on the river also. Closed during winter months, so check to see if they are open.

Grab a bucket of Lone Star Beer for $1 apiece and sit on the balcony - great people watching and excellent burgers. Sunday afternoon usually has some live acoustic music. $20 to park by the river, but you can back your vehicle up to the water and put the chairs in the shallow water.

The owners at Lone Star are just awesome people that happen to create one of the BEST burgers on River Road (possibly the best in NBTX!). They also showcase live music and are open every day during the summer season from 10am to 8pm. We guarantee you will enjoy your visit!
