CMCA’s striking building, designed by architect Toshiko Mori, provides exceptional exhibition space for the presentation of work by contemporary artists connected to Maine. The CMCA Shop features a range of books, gifts and objects by primarily Maine artisans and designers. A stone's throw away from the Farnsworth, this wonderful gallery has rotating exhibitions of contemporary art in a beautiful space and offers a cure from viewing too many paintings of lobster boats and light houses.
