The drive alone is incredible. Make sure you come at low tide to enjoy a walk on the beautiful sandy beach. It's the best surfing beach on the island - however the waves are always pretty small so it's perfect for children.

The Military road and Compton Bay is one of my favourite drives and walks! It's just so beautiful and open and gives you a real sense of being somewhere special. As a destination it's perfect for all sorts of occasions: family beach trip, surfing, swimming, walking, scenic drive, romance, sunset, picnic, dog walks
