If you like to bike, the Farmington Canal Trail can be accessed from multiple places not far from us and goes for many miles safe from cars.

This former water canal became a railway and now is a walking and biking trail. It starts in New Haven and goes to ... Simsbury, maybe? It’s a great way to get to downtown, very peaceful and picturesque.

Along a former railroad track, the trail is paved for easy running, biking, walking. You can access it by the CVS on Dixwell.

A great place for a long bike ride. Avoid after dusk as it is not well-light and there have been incidents of crime.
