There is a beach (with sand!) along the lake, picnic areas, and a few lovely hikes in this park. A great place to spend the day with kids or with friends. There is a $10 fee per car to enter.

This spot is great to spend the whole day at. There is a $10 entrance fee per car for the day. Inside the state park is a swimming lake (during the summer season) with paddle boat and kayak rentals. There is a concession stand, changing rooms, bathrooms, a large updated playground for children and trails you can walk.

Beautiful area to walk around. In the summer there is a beautiful beach as well.

When you can't have the beach, this is the perfect lakeside replacement. With kayaks and rowboats for rent, this serene lake is a great place for a family day on the beach.
