This is the closest hike to the camp. About 500ft from to the trail head, this hike takes you around a mountain pond. (The pin on map is not accurate for this location)

Includes access to the Appalachian Trail, which is the most well known hiking trail in the world. It spans approximately 2200 miles, beginning in Georgia and ending in Maine. The Connecticut portion is 52 miles. It enters the State from the oblong in New York and traverses through the Southern Berkshires.
