We enjoyed our time at the lake. Amazing and serene home. So wonderful to have my dogs with me and they loved the yard. Anna is helpful and responsive. Looking forward to our next visit this summer and fall.

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. It was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The host was responsive and super helpful with everything. The views and location were truly incredible. I recommend this house to anyone who is looking to stay in this area.

My family and I enjoyed staying at this property. Only thing we had issues with was cleanliness of bathroom and air filter. Both of which were dirty and clogged with dust. Only reason is was somewhat of an issue is because my kids are highly allergic to dust. Besides that, great property.

We had a great stay at Mel’s place-we t down to Morehead city for a fishing trip and this house was perfect for our group. Would definitely stay here again.

Susan was the manager, but the “real” hosts were the owners, Brenda and Mike. Just really friendly, kind, helpful and down to earth. Felt absolutely at home. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with all sorts of condiments and spices. I promise you won’t be needing anything. Lots of nice clean dishes, appliances, etc. The place itself is outstanding in its location on the waters edge. The WiFi isn’t maybe the most reliable with a full house, but it’s adequate. Besides, LOOK at the photos, it’s stunning on the pond.

This is our fourth? fifth? stay at Sundar's lovely spot. Private, gorgeous beach out back, great expansive views out front with ships in the distance. Home is very comfortable. We are always there in November so don't swim, or kayak, or fish. Just enjoy the comfortable home and the walks on the beach. Sundar is always very responsive and available. Kitchen has everything you need. Appliances are great. Beds are comfortable. No clutter of owner's cast-offs which many airbnb homes have. We will be back next year!!

Leah and Johnny's Guest House is a MUST stay if it is available during a trip to The County or anywhere close by! The location is amazing but the hosts offer such genuine kindness that you immediately feel like family. They went above and beyond with everything! This spot is a little slice of heaven on earth. Very responsive host, easy to communicate with! When something is missed by the cleaner, frank was able to help us with solution. The place is very quiet and peaceful, very recommend for small families.

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

La salle de bain est bien aménagée, et les lits sont très confortables. Le salon, lumineux et chaleureux, est un endroit idéal pour lire ou se détendre. Le chalet est impeccable, bien situé, et offre une ambiance paisible. Les enfants ont adoré le pédalo, et nous avons aussi beaucoup profité du feu sur le deck en écoutant de la musique. Nous avons adoré ce chalet situé dans un lieu calme, paisible, beau. Le logement était très bien équipé (nous avons même trouvé un adaptateur alors que nous n'avions pas pris le nôtre). Le parking devant le chalet n'est pas accessible sans voiture adaptée à cette période de l'année, comme nous l'a indiqué l'hôte, nous nous sommes garés facilement sur la route très proche du logement.

The main cottage is very cosy but still offers plenty of room to spread out. The sun room offers a beautiful view of the lake which made our morning coffee and lunches very enjoyable. Having visited during the colder part of the year we appreciated the fire and an abundance of blankets (for the sun room). The kitchen is well equipped, even for a full on family roast! The next door bunkie is such a great addition. And it’s not just for sleeping! The living area and the balcony, with just as pleasant view of the lake, is is great for enjoying a moment away from the hustle 😁 The surroundings are peaceful and you can get a nice long walk on the road that didn’t get too muddy even after a torrential rain storm.

This is a beautiful little cabin in the woods ! My 3 kids 6, 3 and 1.5 really made the most of it and enjoyed it very much ! The walk to the lake is doable and they accommodate for everything by providing things like a dish scrubber, wagon, life jackets, this is one of the best rentals I’ve stayed at !

Quiet winter weekend in a classic Maine cabin. Great communication, everything as expected.

We will definitely be back! We had a list of things to do, but spent most of our time outside of the cabin relaxing. We didn’t get to kayak since there was a flood that took them away which was a bummer, but still worth it. Has everything you need and close to tons of things to do!

I have been there before and i just love it. It is super cute and the owners are great .There is a restuarant 5 minutes away and a convenience store.

We had an amazing long weekend with both our dogs! It was our first vacation with them both and this cain did not disappoint. We truly had R&R and we are planning our next trip very soon!! oh! and the wildlife is so fun! from the herons, fish and turtles to the lovely donkey 🤣.

Rebecca’s cabin was lovely! Exactly as described with a great deck overlooking the river. Our trip was unfortunately cut short by threat of flood, but Rebecca and Leanne were extremely kind and helpful through the process. Thank you!!

This was probably the nicest and newest Airbnb we stayed at for the cost we paid. Its definitely a recent build and as an architectural designer, I can tell that the builder went above and beyond to make this place nicer and better quality than average. Usually you get rentals that are filled with the cheapest of the cheap interiors and appliances. This place definitely had European touches and felt like someone built it with an intention to stay there themselves. Bedding and towels smelled amazing! Kitchen was very functional. Balcony was a good size with a large umbrella so you can enjoy outside. We stayed at unit #3 which had very private backyard, so we spent lots of time outside. We loved the walking trails, the water dock, and the playground with our toddler. The grounds were well lit-up in the evenings, which not only made it feel more cozy but also extra safe. You can definitely see water from the unit, however, its not a very big lake, but still pretty with a water fountain.
