Golden hour kayak on the Hudson River

Join me, an expert adventure guide and Catskills native, for a sunset kayak paddle along the historic Hudson River, looping around the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse as the sky turns pink. Beginners and experienced kayakers are all welcome. • Meet at the kayak launch in Athens, where you’ll get fitted for your gear. I’ll share an overview of our route and run through safety guidelines and paddling techniques. • Off you go! Paddle toward the lighthouse, exploring hidden inlets and spotting wildlife as you go. Along the way, I’ll discuss the history of the lighthouse and this region. • Tide permitting, pause at the Middle Ground Flats, a small forested island, to stretch your legs and take some photos. • As the sun sets, paddle to a scenic spot for quiet reflection and more photos, before heading back to our starting point as dusk settles in. You’ll leave having enjoyed a serene Catskills sunset—and an unforgettable experience on the water.

Skateboarding for beginners with a pro

Learn the basics of skateboarding from me, a professional skateboarder, at this outdoor skate park in Boston. This family-friendly lesson is aimed at all skill levels. I recommend bringing your own equipment if possible—Orchard Skateshop is one good place to buy a new board. • You’ll get to know me and your fellow participants and share your experience level—if any. I’ll then lead a stretching and warmup session. • I’ll teach you the basics of skateboarding, including rolling on level ground and turning, before helping you learn how to ride down a small ramp. • Finally, I’ll answer any questions you have and make recommendations for continuing your skateboarding journey here in Boston or back at home. You’ll roll away with new skills and confidence—and maybe even a budding passion for skating.

Surf e SUP a Rockaway Beach, a New York City

Beginner surfing classes are a great way to learn the basics and catch your very first waves! Instructors will teach you the pop-up technique and safety basics on the beach before heading out into the ocean for an hour of catching waves with an instructors help! If you’d prefer to do a one-on-one private lesson, that is also something we offer. Just message us and we’ll arrange a private lesson at a time that works for you. WHERE: Your surfing class will be held on the sand at Beach 108th Street in Rockaway Beach NY. Look for our purple tent & purple flags on the beach. WAIVER: All participants must sign our waiver beforehand which can be found on our surfsupny website BOARD RENTALS: If you’d like to rent boards after the class, that is possible for the discounted rate of $25/2-hours. ADDITIONAL INFO: Please arrive 5mins early to check in and get ready for class. Surfboards & Rashguard will be provided for the class. There are often MTA delays so plan on arriving at the beach early if taking the subway or Rockaway ferry. Please text us if you are running late, so we can accommodate you with a later class.

Kayaking with Labs

Welcome to Kayaking with Labs ;) This is a summer experience only in Muskoka, on Little Lake just near Lock 45 of the Trent Severn. We supply the Kayaks and the pups, and after a brief safety lesson we'll be kayaking the shores of the controlled water of the Gloucester Pool. Our girls will be swimming along side you, and with a leisurely paddle on your part they can keep up. Everyone will board a vessel we provide, (one kayak per person) and take off along the shoreline The kayaks, the paddles and life jackets and gear are all included. We will paddle on and off for an hour, finding rest spots for the girls along the way, and we will find a private spot to have a snack. (We supply the dog treats also). We will be out for 1 hour including training time, and there will be plenty of chances for photos and one on one time with the girls. We have a camera, and will take photos for you and send them via the app. Other things to note This is a two person event. Our times throughout the day, but we limit to once a day as the dogs need to be safe. Need a different time, let me know. Once one time slot is booked, there are no other experiences that day. You don’t need to be a strong swimmer, as you will be paddling in a Kayak close to shore the entire time. Millie and Maggie are photogenic and love to swim along side the Kayaks... and they love treats!

Three Sisters Sea Kayaking Day Tour

Kayak the World’s Highest Tides Join us for an unforgettable sea kayaking adventure on the Bay of Fundy, home to the world’s highest tides. We’ll paddle through the remote Cliffs of Fundy UNESCO Geopark, where North America once separated from Africa—its history is written in the lava flows, fossils, and vibrant rock formations. A highlight of the tour is paddling through the iconic Three Sisters rock spires, where I’ll capture memorable photos for you. We’ll stop at a secluded beach, once a bustling shipyard, now a peaceful retreat where eagles soar, kingfishers chatter, and curious seals peek from the waves. As the tide recedes, we might uncover remnants of the past, like an old horseshoe or parts of the historic wharf. Relax on driftwood while enjoying a homemade meal fresh from my organic garden. On the return journey, the dramatic tidal shift will reveal areas we paddled through now high and dry—an incredible sight. 1.5 hrs paddling each way + 1 hr picnic Photos, gear & paddling instructions provided ‍ Led by a certified kayaking guide An adventure of history, nature, and spectacular scenery awaits!

Enjoy an exciting day kayaking the beautiful north Branch and main Manistee River in Kalkaska County, Michigan! As locals we offer an exciting and engaging experience that you will not find with any canoe livery or kayak rental. We take you on an Adventure! We will start at C&A Adventure in Fife Lake, Michigan. We will begin by determining your skill level, review safety measures, fit you for the right kayak, and go over kayak river skills. Next, we will have you follow us with your vehicle to the end point (when finished you will have your car). We will return to C&A Adventure and begin our experience on the north branch of the Manistee which is not a regularly kayaked river due to no public access. There are multiple portages with a few technical areas, which can be an awesome experience for those looking for a challenge. It also allows for you to take in the beauty not experienced by many. Our paddle will begin at burnt cabin on the Manistee River. We will kayak to the CCC bridge and have lunch. Once we have completed lunch and you have enjoyed frolicking in the river we will continue paddling to the final destination, 3 mile point.

You will finish the course with knowledge of the different parts of the bow and arrow, safety concepts, and proper recurve archery form. Most importantly, you will have a ton of fun from your newfound marksmanship! NCCP coaches are very experienced in coaching beginner archery and will fully tailor the experience to best fit your physical aptitudes. Itinerary: - Check in about 10 minutes before the start time - Archery range safety & etiquette - Equipment walk-through and explanation - Recurve form workshop & target shooting - Most importance of all: fun competitions! - The lesson is 60 min in duration, however your are more than welcome to stay and practice longer (if the space permits) Large groups may be split into smaller groups to maintain a more personal experience for the guests. private and small group surf lessons at Beach 67 in the Rockaways! OTHER TIMES AVAILABLE- just ask! lesson time is structured as below. Late arrivals will be accommodated when possible, but you may have a hard end at the original stop time. 15 minutes: get suited and workshop technique on land 60 minutes: surf time! 15 minutes: change, review your session, and ask any questions! We will meet at the beach where we will get you on the right size board for your size and your level of experience. We will go through a quick stretch and run thru a few practice paddles and pop-ups to get us ready to rip! After that we will spend a few moments looking at the water where I will explain the current conditions, explain why we will choose the section of beach we are choosing, give a few pointers on wave selection, and then we will head out into the water together. You will be on the board and I will be at your side at all times. Once in the water we will review water safety on the surf board and I will show you how we pick waves. When the waves come I will instruct you when to paddle, give a small push on the board, and coach you on when to pop up and make any corrections to your stance so that you can get the longest ride possible. For intermediate lessons I will paddle out with you and coach via my voice (no push) and help you to catch your own waves with confidence.

Guided Kayak Tour -Explore Masonboro Island in Wilmington Nc

Your guide will lead you across the intracoastal waterway and through a complex myriad of subtidal and intertidal areas along the sound side of the island and point out some amazing estuarine species. We may find Green or Loggerhead sea turtle nests on the beach after landing on the island and carefully walking through dune and foredune habitat to the beach. Your guide will identify species of concern, possibly including the American Oystercatcher, Black Skimmer and Wilson’s Plover. Bottlenose dolphins are often spotted on both the sound side and ocean side of Masonboro Island. This 3.5-hour adventure includes 4 miles of paddling and about 1.5 hours of island exploration (swimming in the surf, hunting for shells and sharks teeth or just beaching it) away from your kayak.

Fishing in New York City's iconic Central Park

Join me for a very unique experience of fishing in New York City's iconic Central Park! We will fish at one of two locations in Central Park: 1. The Meer is an 11 acre lake that borders the Upper West Side, Harlem and Upper East Side and has gorgeous views of the city and a great perspective of Central Park. 2. The Pond is a 3.8 acre lake on the south end of the park and has views of The Plaza Hotel and is close to Times Square. If you are booking as a group (or individual) and would prefer a different time or location in the park, please message me and I can work to accommodate those requests. All fishing equipment, tackle and guidance is included. The lake has multiple species of fish including largemouth bass, crappie, carp, bullhead catfish and sunfish. There are also lots of other animal wildlife we can observe while we are out fishing. I will provide drinks and snacks along the way and we'll take lots of photos for you to remember! All experience levels are welcome. If you have never fished before or are an avid fisher, I think you will have a great time. This tour is great for: 1. Families 2.
