Peekskill is one of New York's best-kept secrets and oldest societies, dating back to the 1600s. We are home to artists' lofts, outdoor and street art, coffee roasteries, cafes, rooftop bars, vintage music shops, vintage bookstores, cannabis dispensaries, live music festivals, farmers' markets, flea markets, dive bars, and a huge foodie culture.
Being as eclectic as we are diverse in food, music, art, culture, and history, we want you to taste and experience what makes Peekskill great, while exposing you to 500 years of American and New York history. Our tour includes a combination of 15-20 indoor and outdoor stops. Participants will enjoy food, desserts, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, varying between Latino, Asian, & American cultures. All food & drinks are included. Food and drink samples, as well as stops, may vary and are selected based on the day's events.
More than just food and drinks, you will learn about Peekskill's rich history, spanning over 500 years, through random, fun, and surprising facts! This will be a 3-mile walk with minimal seating, eating on the go, uneven pavement, and both ascending and descending streets.
The tour takes place rain or shine and is a great option for photography enthusiasts, solo travelers, couples, corporate groups, families, and private groups. So, come ready to explore, walk, eat, drink, socialize, and we will do the rest.
