Rookwood was an extraordinary setting for a fabulous weekend. The house is gorgeous, beautifully laid out, and so comfortable. Eight of us stayed for two nights, and we didn't feel like we were treading on each others toes at all. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed -- so many mugs! We would definitely recommend this property!

We stayed for my husbands 30th birthday with all the family, house was the perfect size, spotlessly clean, games room was an absolute hit, the weather was beautiful and the house is perfectly located close to the beach. We had takeaway from local Indian and fish and chips of course! Which were recommended by Barbara in a very thorough detailed guide. Would definitely love to return in a couple years and recommend to all.

Brambles was a perfect let for our mixed-age family group celebrating an 81st birthday. The bedrooms were ideal for our needs and everyone was comfortable. Kitchen facilities were excellent and there was a very pleasant and well- tended garden. The lounge area was large enough to accommodate us when relaxing at the end of the day. An extra bonus was the range of games available that were enjoyed by children and adults alike. Only being there for the weekend led us to dine out rather than cook in the house and we would strongly recommend the Harbour Lights restaurant at Walton.
