Esta casa es lo que es, una experiencia donde quedarse en la selva en una casa con la construcción típica Filipina, lo que implica no tener ventanas ni puertas que prevengan de insectos, animales, lluvia... A nosotras, por el plan de viaje que llevábamos nos encajó bien, pero la entrada a la casa en días de lluvia se convierte en una rampa resbaladiza, el bar de justo debajo celebraba fiestas cada día de la semana, con música alta hasta las 2 am.
Además, pese a que la casa siga el estilo local y sea muy difícil mantenerla limpia por razonas obvias (estar completamente abierta a la naturaleza), había basura dentro y fuera de la casa de huéspedes anteriores, y los trapos y algunos utensilios no estaban para nada limpios. Fue una experiencia genial para nosotras, pero reconocemos que no lo sea para todo el mundo!

This place has huge potential, the location is perfect except for the bar at the bottom of the hill that blasted music till 3 am. It looked like no one had been to the place for several weeks before we got there, there were dead bugs all over the place and spiders the size of a baby’s fist had made webs connected to the hammocks, so that when we tried to sit on one of the hammocks this huge spider came racing out of his hidey hole to catch what triggered his web. There was no running water in the kitchen or bathroom sinks and the water which had been left in the wash basin had gone stagnant. The fridge didn’t work either. For forty bucks a night we weren’t expecting anything extravagant, or really even that nice for that matter, but it has to be clean and have running water. Very disappointed after having traveled for the better part of 3 days to get here from the U.S. to not even be able to use the dipper to shower up.
