My wife and I wrapped up a weeklong trip to Rome with a magical evening hosted by Christian and his assistant, and it was truly the perfect finale. We started with a lovely glass of wine as Christian prepared homemade ravioli right in front of us, walking us through each step of the process with passion and charm. What followed was a delicious four-course meal paired with wine, each dish better than the last. My favorite was the eggplant parmesan, while my wife swears the lava cake with fresh gelato was the best she’s ever had. If you’re looking for an intimate, unforgettable dining experience by the serenity of the Tiber River, this is an absolute must for your Rome itinerary. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Rome.

Unfortunately, this experience didn't meet our expectations. While we were drawn to the unique location, several aspects fell short for the price point.
Before the pasta-making, we weren't asked to wash our hands, which was surprising for a cooking school. The dinner itself was unremarkable.
Despite informing the host beforehand that we don't drink alcohol and requesting alternatives, we were only offered water, Coke, or Fanta. We didn't expect a discount—just proper alternatives for the same price others paid for wine.
The staff were kind and the setting is interesting. The experience has potential, but the execution needs significant improvement to justify the cost.
