ottobre 2024SUPER RECOMENDABLE

novembre 2023Our experience with Sebastian was truly the highlight of our CDMX trip. Both of us (mother & daughter) had been to the city before, but this helped us see it in a new way. We would never in 100 visits have learned as much about the natural, political-economic and social history of Mexico City as we did from our half day with Sebastian.
Plus, it was just plain fun! (And tasty - I’m now a pulque convert, and the included lunch was terrific.)
Sebastian is knowledgeable and passionate about urban history. The tour took in a bit of everything, from geology and flora/fauna to pre-conquest civilizations to the colonial period through modern Mexico. We saw petroglyphs, a 16th century grain mill-turned-textile-factory, gorgeous natural areas, and the charming, well-preserved colonial center of Tlalpan, with its grand viceregal homes, churches/religious orders, traditional market and central plaza.
And, of course, the springs in Fuentes Brotantes park. Now for a confession: I’m old and clumsy and a bit of a scaredy-cat, so I did not actually get to the springs themselves, which requires a certain amount of physical confidence and agility. But my daughter did, and she came out grinning from ear to ear.
The thing is, it was equally fun and thrilling for me. Sebastian is great about adapting to the needs/interests of the participants. Highly, highly recommend the entire experience!

febbraio 2023This experience is a unique way to discover a beautiful part of Mexico City. If you are looking for something 'off the beaten track' during your stay in the city, this is it. Sebas is a great guide and a walking encyclopedia, who knows the area by heart. The meeting point is easy to reach (direct Metrobus connection from any central location like Roma/Condesa). We travelled trough time and learned about different parts of the city's history, and were amazed to discover that in the middle of the city you can still drink fresh water direct from the source. Highly recommended experience!
