The limoncello experience was such a wonderful highlight of my trip! The wife of the 3rd-generation owners was the sweetest host — warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. She happily answered all of my questions and shared fascinating insights into the history and tradition of limoncello, which made me appreciate it even more.

Since limoncello is so iconic in Italy, I think this experience is absolutely worth doing. The only part I missed was the hands-on element: when I did this experience back in 2018, we actually got to peel the lemons ourselves, but that part has since been removed. It was a little disappointing not to do it again, but the overall visit was still engaging, informative, and very enjoyable.

This was one of our favorite things to do while on the Amalfi coast! Our host guide was incredibly knowledgeable, it was so fun to learn about his family having made Limoncello for multiple generations, and how to how to find high-quality Limoncello. Can’t believe how affordable this was and easy to get to. We had such a lovely time; it’s a brief well done history lesson as well, and you can buy some of their beautiful Limoncello if you’d like, but there’s no pressure to do so- the class is in the factory part of their store, which is really a part of their store. I can’t recommend it enough!! Such a great thing to do while in Amalfi!

Vittorio is so passionate and knowledgeable about Limoncello and the legacy of his family’s business that he continues to run. He was warm and welcoming, very friendly and made the experience feel special and unique. Everyone in my group enjoyed it and agreed it was a highlight of our vacation in Italy.
