I am a Biologist who renovated a stone house over 5 years. Pelion is an undiscovered destination but Greeks know it well. It has mountain & Sea with some of the best Greek beaches & popular in Winter & Summer. We made less rooms in the house & chose to put in a large relaxation suite instead as our ethos is towards providing an individual, relaxing experience which can not be found in larger hotels. We provided better standard rooms also and not the 'rooms to rent' style you fin in many places…

We did the 90 minute Golden Hour tour and it was fantastic. Our tour guide covered a wide range of history briskly and helped us contextualize all of the buildings of the Acropolis and environs. She did such a good job, she made us regret not opting for the longer tour that includes the museum. 90 minutes was not enough time to really learn and see everything, I would recommend booking one of the longer tours.
