I had a wonderful time on this tour learning about what makes Lisbon a wonderful place. I especially loved hearing her point of view as a food writer and trying different places for food and drinks without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Margo makes you feel like you're long time friends as she walks you around to places that are special to her. I loved the small market with food from the Azores and because Margo knows the owners, I felt right at home. I liked ending at one of her favorite cafes in Praça da Alegria and chatting about her experience in Lisbon and the places she enjoys as a foodie. Lisbon is best experienced wandering around and enjoying the all the unique places and this is exactly what I wanted today.
Margo's passion for food and her insightful commentary added an extra layer of appreciation to each bite. It was not just about eating; it was a journey through the heart and soul of Lisbon's culinary identity.
This insider's perspective transformed the tour into an intimate exploration of Lisbon's food culture, giving it a warmth and authenticity that is hard to find elsewhere. Whether sipping on a glass of wine or having a bite of artisanal cheese, it was evident that every choice on the tour was made with a deep appreciation for quality and tradition. I can't wait to try the other places she suggested in her guide!
